You just started this webcomic. How can you already have Frequently Asked Questions?

What is this all about?

This webcomic is based on Firefly and Serenity, Joss Whedon’s short-lived western/sci-fi television show and eventual motion picture. If you haven’t seen these, get your hands on the DVDs and watch them. Go do it now. I’ll wait.
Just before Serenity was released, we did a fanfilm parody of Firefly called Mosquito . You can download the monster of a file here , but it’s also on www.youtube.com and other sites like that. This comic is just a continuation of that project.

Why do a webcomic about a 3 year old fanfilm?

Because after reading different webcomics, I’ve seen the artists involved grow more talented each year (I’m looking at you, Kurtz ). This is because they’re at it most every day. I’m looking to improve my drawing and computer skills, and I’m still a bit of a Browncoat fanboy. This was just something I could stay interested in and dedicated to.

How often are you going to update?

I might go back to twice a week, but for right now, the site is updated on Mondays.

Where can I get my hands on some cool Mosquito merchandise?

You can’t. I’m a bit of a copyright nazi, so to make money off Whedon’s creation would also make me a big stinky hypocrite. I’ve got books and movies on the go through Emerald City Storytellers but this webcomic isn’t going to make a dime. Just read and enjoy.

That being said, I still make the time for the Serenity benefit screenings folks do in and around June 23rd (an otherwise completely insignificant day). If I can, I usually mail off a Mosquito DVD or something for event organizers who contact me.

Just who are you anyway?
